Journal of Archeological Research in West Asia (JARWA) is an international and prestigious publication from the Institute of Archeology of Tehran University, Iran. This journal contains research articles, fieldwork reports, and major compositions and analyzes that deal with archaeological theory and method used in all periods of the human past, from the earliest prehistory to recent times. This magazine focuses on the well-known cradles of civilization, most of which are located in West Asia, including countries from the eastern Mediterranean coast to Central Asia. It also provides examples of the application of the latest approaches and directions in archaeological research of interest and global relevance.
For this purpose, the aim of this journal is to provide a platform for researchers around the world to publish, share and discuss new findings and developments in various fields of archeology and archaeological sciences with special emphasis on evolutionary cultural processes. People who are now subject to ancient world archeological research. This magazine is the official publication of Tehran University. The editors will welcome contributions from all over the world with a focus on the West Asian region and interactions with neighboring regions. All articles are published in print and electronic versions and a DOI is attributed to each article. Jarwa is published using an open-access publication model, which means that all interested readers can access the online journal without subscription at https://jarwa.ut.ac.ir .
